Dr. Meenu Kumar, Feminist Artist, Art Critic and Poet, Vice President-OISCA International, Tokyo, Japan, Director- Cosmo Arts (India) Gallery is very vibrant and dynamic personality in the art field. She is dedicated towards a socio creative cause by supporting young emerging artist from the less fortunate section of the society. She holds doctorate degree in Multimedia & has authored many books on art and Multimedia. Her creations are outpour of pure feelings from straight from her heart. Dr Meenu is truly a feminist artist by heart and her creations reflect upon the need of physical, mental and emotional freedom & empowerment of women in the society. She is also an ambassador of She-Shakti campaign by Cosmo Arts India Gallery. Through her creations she is raising the constraints faced by the women of today and is echoing their inner voice. The medium chosen by the artist is acrylic and pen n ink on canvas. Intricate strokes of pen on canvas point towards the complexity of women’s life & the selection of metallic or bright colours signifies the radiance spread by the women in this society. She is also a feminist poet and enthralls with her verses based on her paintings. Every creation of hers celebrates the women folk in various manifestations.
